Inclusive learner support

A structured path to the right support

As a full-service school, Laerskool Booysens accommodates learners with mild to moderate learning barriers. Support follows the Screening, Identification, Assessment and Support process.

  1. The class teacher contacts the parent to complete the required SNA forms.
  2. After completion, the teacher refers the learner to the School-Based Support Team.
  3. The team develops an action plan and teachers prepare an individual support plan.
  4. If progress remains limited after intervention, the learner may be referred to the District-Based Support Team.
